CMA Transition Assistance Workshops

Considered a force multiplier to the DoD Transition Assistance Program, CMA provides a nimble, scalable, transition assistance platform coupled with an individualized case management and intrusive advising approach. This approach enables each transitioning service member, veteran, spouse, or caregiver to develop and engage in well-informed, self-directed goals and to leverage federal-, state-, and community-based transition assistance resources to facilitate successful transition into the civilian sector.

Supported by timely, relevant peer-reviewed data and information, CMA’s 1-day workshop curriculum, comprised of three intersecting transition components, addresses Educational Attainment, Financial Literacy, and Vocational Proficiency and is built upon a foundation of holistic health, well-being, and resiliency. CMA’s foundational approach facilitates a deeper understanding of the subject matter, in that the curriculum is presented in an encouraging interactive engagement style, making the workshop more dynamic, participant-centered, truthful, and transparent.

Success Stories

“…The CMA event was probably the most authentic and enlightening transition workshop I have attended thus far. The personal stories about the pitfalls of life post military service and how to properly plan to land "feet first" were remarkable. I will definitely remember and use the knowledge given as I continue on my transition path. The financial overview, LinkedIn deep dive and salary negotiation techniques were all added value.”

- Luis Morales, MBA (Fort Hood Attendee)
